Paper validation using Ansys – Heat exchanger nanofluid
“Experimental analysis for heat transfer of nanofluid with wire coil
turbulators in a concentric tube heat exchanger.”
You have to validate the results of the above experiment using Ansys, that is to perform a numerical analysis by creating an accurate cfd model.
Also, screen record the procedure. I have attached the research paper below and also attached a word document specifying in brief what the research paper is about.

- Heat exchanger –
Concentric heat exchanger [with and without wire coil turbulators of pitches 25 and 39 mm]
- Fluid – 1. pure water
- 0.4% Al2O3 water nanofluid
- 0.8% Al2O3 water nanofluid
- 1.2% Al2O3 water nanofluid
- 1.6% Al2O3 water nanofluid
- Calculation :- For Reynolds number – 4000, 8000, 12000, 16000, 20000
- Nusselt number vs Reynolds number
- Total heat coefficient vs Reynolds number
- Friction factor vs Reynolds number
This is to be done for :-
- Concentric heat exchanger without wire coil – Pure Water
- Concentric heat exchanger with 25 mm wire coil – Pure water
- Concentric heat exchanger with 39 mm wire coil – Pure Water
Also in place of pure water, repeat the above for 0.4%, 0.8%, 1.2%, 1.6% Al2O3 water nanofluid.
