• LO1: Analyse the different types of demand for conference facilities
• LO2: Evaluate supply trends in a local, national and global context

 

You are to present a written report of approximately 3000 words, as follows:

 

1. Investigate and appraise the size and nature of the global business event industry, and explain the position of your chosen city within that global context
2. Evaluate the business events industry’s key supply and demand issues within your chosen city, in relation to current trends.
3. On the basis of the above findings debate the way forward for the city, and make recommendations for how the city can build its reputation as a business event destination.
