1.)

Q: Are diets directly linked to physical health?

Hypothesis: An alkaline based diet will lower LDL cholesterol and cause weight loss.

Experiment: One-thousand people are selected to participate in the experiment. The group is split into four groups. Each group of 250 people will have similar medical history, diets, ages, and socioeconomic status. The first 250 people are females who will be given the alkaline based diet (nuts, fruits, and vegetables.) The second group will be the 250 females that are given the acidic based diet (poultry, grain, and dairy.) the third group will be a group of males who are given the alkaline diet and the last group will be the group of males who are given the acidic based diet. The experiment will last a total of 6 months.

The predicted results will be the LDL cholesterol numbers and also the person’s weight at the end of the experiment.
