For this project, you will be doing some research about companies that offer software and

services to their customers via the web. Since these services are hosted on computers other than

those belonging to the end user, they are usually referred to as “cloud services.”

For this project, do some research about at least 2 of these companies and find out what type of

services they offer. Write a report that discusses these services and compares one company’s

services to the other. There are many services offered by the above providers, so try to keep your

report limited to the major services.

Along the way, you will come upon the phrase, “cloud computing.” This is much more than

simply using remote computers for backup purposes; it is using remote computers to provide the
