Health Problem:	The short name of the federal legislation is the introduction of both free maternity services and health insurance covers. The health problem short name is the inaccessibility of health care service due to poverty and low-income earners.
Assignment #1 Title:	The United States has one of the best economies in the world. The economy has structures which are organized including activities of the government either inside or outside the country. America has various health problems which are problematic to both citizens and the US government. One of the major problems which have been continuous is diseases resistant to various antibiotics treatment. Many people are infected by certain bacteria which in return is antibiotics resistant thus resulting in a high death rate and the high cost of treatment. Various death happens in the healthy environment and nursing homes. Life is important hence the US government has been trying to solve the problems using all means possible.
Healthy People 2020	The represented health problem above for a long period of time has been a threat to America. The problem majorly affects citizens who receive low income because they cannot afford to pay for treatments. The HP2020 initiative aim is to make sure the United States by 2020 is leading in terms of health hence it has ensured that the problem is seriously taken care of. The government and the initiative have used all means possible to make sure the American citizens achieve the vision 2020 hence living with no fear of infections through the department of health (Berwick & Hackbarth, 2012).
Official Title and Citation of the Legislation:	Unites States government has been playing part in ensuring that vision 2020 is realized by funding the initiative so that the healthcare standards of America can be boosted. The funding is important because poor citizens can access health services at a subsidized rate. To add on that, the government has provided insurance cover to all citizens so that they can get avoid payments which are direct whenever they get ill. The American citizens can use registered insurance card whenever they want to be treated. The United States has been promoting uniformity by developing legislation measures which are aimed at protecting and avoiding exploitation of consumers during medication by health practitioners. Affordable Care Act of 2010 (ACA) is a legislation which has been responsible for bringing changes by lowering the health care cost in the health care system by use of insurance companies. The legislation has been a big step to American’s economy because of health care standards improvement hence making vision 2020 to be possible. According to the act, the United States has a responsibility to expand Medicaid especially to adults having the income of 135% in regards to the poverty level of federal. The law, on the other hand, has highlighted the insurance level which impacts enrollee assistance and premium rates for covering people with conditions which are pre-existing. The law considers also family policies to adults (Middleton et al., 2013).
Policy response:	The legislation is very impactful to the healthcare of the United States. It has therefore received public appraisal because it has played a role in improving the rate whereby the health centers are visited by patients frequently. In the past, the patient failed to access health care service because of poverty but since the policy was introduced, the number of the patient seeking medication in the healthcare has risen. At the present time, the patients in terms of their number looking for medication is increased hence the healthcare of America is expected to be stable.
Status:	As of the date of submission of the paper, the legislation remains important because all concerned bodies and stakeholders are focused on achieving the HP2020 vision.
Conclusion:	The policy of health care does not address antibiotics resistance singly but also addresses other diseases because they affect the entire healthcare of America. It is, therefore, a policy which is aimed at making HP 2020 achievable.
