hey

sorry i could not add tip for the previoud question I will for this $50 as tip for both `questions

so I want to the below

Page 1: Title page with your group number & “Structural Elucidation Project” written on it. Page 2: 1H NMR spectrum – label all peaks & include integrations Page 3: 13C spectrum (proton decoupled) – label all peaks Page 4: DEPT-135 13C NMR spectrum – label all peaks Page 5: DEPT-90 13C NMR spectrum – label all peaks (make “leakage” peaks negative) Page 6: 1H-1H COSY spectrum – insert the 1H NMR spectrum on both axes Page 7: 1H-13C HSQC spectrum – insert the 1H & 13C NMR spectrum on their corresponding axes Page 8: 1H-13C HMBC spectrum – insert the 1H & 13C NMR spectrum on their corresponding axes Page 9: Low resolution mass spectrum – (use LC-MS) – show full spectrum – label M+ peak (written in) Page 10: FT-IR spectrum – label all peaks > 25% transmittance Page 11: Draw the structure of your unknown compound.

Page 12-16 (rough estimate): Write a paragraph discussing each spectrum. The more thorough your discussion, the more likely you are to receive full credit. Discuss: coupling constants, chemical shifts, integrations, peak intensity in 13C{1H} spectrum, positive/negative peaks in DEPT spectra, key crosspeaks in 2D spectra, fragmentation observed, functional groups present based on absorption in IR spectrum, and more. At the very end, write a summary/conclusion of why you think the structure is what you predicted. Use the spectral data to support your prediction. Note: if your molecule has stereochemistry, how did you/could you assign it? If you reference other sources for help, be sure to cite them properly.

For example: Page 12: 1H & 13C{1H} NMR spectra discussion Page 13: DEPT-135 & DEPT-90 spectra discussion Page 14: COSY & HSQC discussion Page 15: HMBC & MS discussion Page 16: FT-IR discussion & Conclusion
