Many people have no idea of the depth and variety that can come with a degree in nursing.  As examples you can work in Doctor’s offices, work as a school nurse, as a legal nurse consultant, as a SANE/SART nurse (sexual assault nurse examiner), as a Director of Nursing, as a state inspector, and as an MDS coordinator.  You could also work for insurance companies, call lines, and as a hospital nurse you could work in many different specialities such as emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric, substance abuse units, surgical units, cardiac cath units, infusion therapy, medical units, cancer units, and labor and delivery, just to name a few.
