Violence against children has occurred for centuries. As early as the age of ten they have been recruited and forced into service as fighters, soldiers, slave-labor and prostitutes. Discuss how you view this situation. Is it social, economical, cultural, religious or political. As a process, how do you consider addressing and resolving the situation? Is the criminal justice system the correct and most efficient means to deal with this situation? Are there more effective means, if so, explain your position.
