Plants and oill spills

Plant cell membrane
plant growth effects
oil spills will prevent proper ventilation of the roots
will hinder plant growth and may even kill the plant.
It will also poison the plant add harmful chemicals that animals and humans who eat it, which could harm the eaters
Plant repopulation
To keep tourist visualy pleased plants should be repopulated in the closet ( nearest) tour site
Or we could repopulate where a lot of animals live near the tour site to help the animals who depended on plants as a source of energy ( food)
This will make up in the economy for the loss of the other tour site
Off shore drilling
I oppose the off shore drilling for many reasons
It would cost a lot for them to build on an area taking away from our budgets. ( more taxes)
Tourist wouldn’t visit the area bad scenery.
Building on a habitat where animals live would create a problem of over crowding in the next tourist site and more animals on the roads ( homeless)
It also would pollute the area around ( factory).
Crude oil and plant cell
photosynthesis
6 CO2 + 6 H2O ? C6H12O6 + 6 O2 is a process that converts carbon dioxide into, sugars, using the energy from sunlight .
Photosynthesis occurs in plants, algae, and many species of bacteria, but. since they can create their own food. In plants, photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide and water, releasing oxygen as a waste product.
Products- sugar glucose and oxygen
Reactants-carbon dioxide and water ( with sunlight and chlorophyll – in chloroplasts
Â
Effects on the process
Crude oil effects the process by clogging up the pores and roots of the plant so it cant receive sunlight.
It makes it hard for the plant to take in water and carbon dioxide ( reactants)
