The Essay must include: • No colour – black fonts only • Spacing – double spaced • 12 point font in Times New Roman • Margins of 2.54 cm (1 inch) top and bottom, and 3.17 cm (1.25 inches) left and right • Pages numbered (Numbering begins on the first page of text, not the title page) • Word count (excluding bibliography) on the last page of text before the bibliography -8 pages (it can just end off at 8 pages too) Annotated Bibliography • Use APA style for citing sources and for preparing a bibliography The Question/Topic of the Essay is: “Many countries, including Canada, the UK, New Zealand, Israel, and India to name a few, have had a female prime minister. In the US, women have been chosen as the presidential nominee (Hilary Clinton) and vice-presidential nominee (Kamala Harris). Does this demonstrate that gender equality in politics has been achieved?” My argument is that gender equality has NOT been achieved in politics.
