Make sure to number each answer – Write “1” for your Q 1 answer, and “2” for your Q2 answer. Within each question, there are sub-questions A, B sometimes a C, and it would be very helpful if you also have separate small paragraphs for each of these sub-answers (follow the same format in your answers as the questions are written). The more clearly you answer each part of each question, the easier it will be for our class GA to read and score your answers, which are based on both quality of your content and quality of your writing skills.

1. There are several interesting videos in this week’s content areas of Organization Culture, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Cultural/Global Diversity.

A. Please choose at least 2-3 videos from this week’s postings to carefully review, and discuss at least 3 things that are of interest to you and why you find them worthwhile and informative.



B. As a future manager/leader or productive contributing member of an organization, do you think these 3 areas (Org Culture, CSR and Cultural/Global Diversity) will increase in importance in the future, stay the same as they are now or will become less important in the future – please discuss why you think the way you do?

2. On page 273, CH 12, in your textbook, please read the section “Organization Cultures Must Face Up to Emerging Work-life Trends.”

A. What organizational culture issues are emerging from the data – please discuss just a couple of trends you glean from the data presented?

B. Though you may be quite young now, do you think in the future these work-life challenges that people and organizations are facing could impact the type of an organization or organizations you would choose to work for in the future – why or why not?

C. If you were consulting an organization intending to offer better work-life balance, what in particular do you believe an ideal organization should offer its employees and managers with respect to work-life practices/policies?
