2)PEER REVIEW #1 (IMANI)

There are many things in business that are inevitable; among them is conflict. Whether it is between a company and consumers or employees, conflict will arise. Understanding the root cause of the conflict is how a solution is found. During my time in the Navy, there was overwhelming conflict among everyone, patients, and caregivers experiencing stress due to misunderstandings and miscommunications are the most common and most natural to solve. When I was in the Navy, I had a conflict with one of my peers over a subordinate. He and I only ever disagreed, and it would lead to yelling and near fistfights. One day we ended up in the same boat waiting for a superior to get their stuff together so we could do our jobs, and we got to talking. He said, “Peleska, I think you are a bad HM3″, to which I replied, That’s your loss fam,” Dougherty is mine, deal with it. ” and he laughed. That was the beginning of our conflict resolution: a misunderstanding and a miscommunication.

3) PEER REVIEW #2 (SIRENA)

Hello,

I started my first banking position at the age of 19. After being with this particular bank for several months, another teller was then hired. Unfortunately, she did not care for me even when waking in for her interview I got a side-eye from her. A few months of us working alongside each other, and I was being treated poorly by this new teller. We finally have a meeting to address why she treated me in an offensive manner, after many complaints to management. In that meeting, she revealed that she felt like she could not relate to me due to my age and other life characteristics. Management explained that she did not have a reason to feel what she felt because she never gave me a chance. I backed our manager as well as letting the teller know that I would not stand to be mistreated any longer. I also told her how we have plenty in common, which is how I gained her respect and friendship outside of work.
