The purpose of this discussion is for you to demonstrate your understanding of the material. Using a minimum of 300 words, provide a thorough response to the following prompts:

1. Describe the definition of a psychological disorder provided by the American Psychiatric Association (APA), including the four criteria. Why isn’t any single criterion adequate for classifying abnormal behavior? Which of these criteria would apply to those featured in the bipolar video and the OCD video?
2. Review the Symptoms of Schizophrenia section of the chapter and identify the symptoms that are displayed in the Schizophrenia: John Nash video included in this module. Describe the specific symptoms that you see exhibited in the video.
3. Watch the Carson Daly – Anxiety Disorder video. How does Carson explain why he developed an anxiety disorder? How are his explanations similar and/or different to the explanations for anxiety disorders provided in the textbook?
