The purpose of the transcultural assessment is to explore a patient population and culture unlike your own. Frame your research paper to the population and health issue that you wish to study. Conduct your community assessment using the listed criteria as a guide. Develop a plan/program for your population at risk. Include a nursing theory (from one of the 4 assigned transcultural articles) as the cultural framework. Identify stakeholders in your community to hypothetically collaborate with on your project. Describe the interventions you would hypothetically implement for your selected patient population. If you were to evaluate a program like the one you have designed, how would you measure the outcomes? Consider a plan for sustainability as well as how you would evaluate your program after one year. Write a brief summary (about 100-150 words) as your conclusion. Include a reference page with 8-10 references and be sure to adhere to APA style as required by the academic discipline of nursing. Limit your paper to 10 pages including the title and reference pages.

PICO question: For geriatric patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’ s disease (AD) (P), does acetylcholinesterase inhibitor (i.e. Aricept 10mg)(I) in comparison to a non-drug therapy (i.e. alternative treatments) (C) result in slowing of the progression of the disease (O), over a period of six months (T)?
