Community health in the united states
[promo2]
In an article I read recently, the Commonwealth Fund reported that the US spends more money on health care as a share of the economy, almost twice as much as the average Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) nation, but has the lowest life expectancy and highest suicide rates among the 11 countries. In addition, the United States has the largest burden of chronic disease and obesity, which is two times higher than the OECD average. Pretty crazy, isn’t it?!
What would your suggestion be to improve this pathetic image of the US health care system? I would be interested in hearing your thoughts.
