- Thoughtfully respond to the course material from this week.
- If you wish, you may comment on what you consider a hipster sensibility or aesthetic; avant-garde art versus hipster art; art which is legible within a category or genre and art which is illegible, or art as social commentary or commitment versus personal expression versus no expression at all. You are also free to address anything else you like concerning the course materials.
- Cite at least two poems and/or illustrations from Saroyan (see attached file) and Ernst (Un Semaine de Bonté) within the body of your response to support your positions.
- Submission should be 1 ¼ -1 ½ pages, doc or pdf file type, and formatted with double-spacing, 1 inch margins, and 12-pt. Times New Roman or another serif font.
